The 21st Century E.O.C. is a program geared primarily toward persons 18 years of age and older who want to earn a high school diploma. The Center is also for those students currently nearing the completion of high school, but having a difficult time completing credits on time.

In this unique setting, students will work to complete standard academic curriculum using computer-based course instruction and applications supplied by the Center. Each will advance at his or her own pace with teacher assistance when needed. Added learning opportunities will be provided by staff to fill in the gaps.

The only cost for participation in this program is a an annual $10.00 registration fee. Students need only maintain a good attendance record and complete the state and local credit requirements to receive a diploma.

A motivated student can conceivably complete the coursework in much less time than in a traditional classroom. This is because the instruction is highly focused and the student may spend as much time on a given subject per day as they prefer. Upon completion of all necessary credits, a diploma is issued from the individual’s sponsoring high school.
