Come on in… Our staff helps adults (folks who are 18 or older and whose class has graduated) go back to school to attain their high school diploma. Diplomas are issued from one of our sponsoring high schools: Axtell, Centralia, Frankfort, Marysville, Valley Heights, Nemaha Valley, and Sabetha.
A large percentage of coursework is delivered over the Internet to our facility. In addition there are writing assignments, research projects, and other off-line assignments. Computer knowledge is not a requirement for clients as long as they possess initiative and a willingness to learn. Certified teachers are always available to provide feedback, direct instruction, and motivation.
When a potential student enrolls, the staff talks to him/her about placement within the program, goals for the future, attendance expectations, and any special circumstances that make the client’s placement unique. Registration costs just $10 and the classes are free. Enrollment is ongoing and unlimited in our adult programs.
Due to our agreement with some of the surrounding high schools, we are able to offer services to some current high school students on a limited basis. If you are not 18 and your class has not graduated, please speak to your high school counselor about whether any of our services are right for you.
